The Hand that Rocks the Cradle

Yes, there’s a ton of wonderful feminist theory that goes with this amazing movie. But, I mostly love it for its set design. Released in 1992, the film takes place in Seattle, in such a gorgeous house, it’s truly domestic bliss. Hard to believe all of those grunge musicians were just around the corner. The swarthy protagonist wears green and the blonde antagonist wears blue. The dad has a beard. The couple “make love”. Currently available on Netflix. Highly recommend.
